i3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Integrated Defense Design (IDD) Team Product Owner (PO). In this critical role, you will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). This position is expected to be performed fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the IDD team.Reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms.Providing guidance to the development team.Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.Provide include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission. QualificationsEducation/Experience:
Have a bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.Have basic knowledge of Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Command and Control (C2) and/or planning software.Have the ability to provide oversight to SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria, including SW code reviews.Be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.U.S. Citizenship is required.Experience conducting AMD defense planning is a desired.Experience leading a SW development team is preferable.Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
