Job Description

Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Track and Trace shipmentsPrepare, handle, and process shipment documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documentsAccurate and timely data entry into our operating systemCommunicate effectively with customers, vendors, other Expeditors offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and person to personMonitor reportsAccurate and timely client billingContribute to maintaining strong service provider relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and othersMaintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirementsMeet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goalsDesire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency

QualificationsAt least 2-3 years of experience in transportation and logistics or air operations, or equivalent educationEffective interpersonal skills - including the ability to listen, comprehend and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writingStrong organizational and prioritization skills are criticalMust have the ability to work independently and in a team environmentProficient computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPointProven background for excellent attendanceFluent in English and Italian (mandatory)Candidates must be eligible to work in EU
