We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Export Supervisor who will be responsible for the end to end performance and profitability of the local Air Freight Export product team which includes Operations and Customer Service. This role drives performance of the team while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for AFR Export P&L and operational KPI’sEnsures customer and operations requirements are met and takes corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirementsEnsures handling of required Export documents according to regulations and internal proceduresFollows-up shipment status in the Export area, identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidentsSupports Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolutionCreates, builds and maintains excellent relationships with key suppliers both internal and externalContinuously monitors supplier performance and develops improvement plan when requiredIdentifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional departmentCreates, builds and maintains relationships with other internal functionsActs as subject matter expert for ad hoc operational questions with regards to  accounts which are being servicedEnsures that proper implementation of customer has been conducted before Operations is starting regular business serviceDrives Continuous Improvement in Process Flows for Air Export as well as with the Warehouse and Dispatch work streams.

Skills / Requirements:

6+ years Airfreight experience in the freight forwarding industry preferred1+ years' leadership experience preferredTemperature-controlled, perishable, DG/Hazmat working experience preferredExperience using CargoWise software a plusProficient using Microsoft Office SuiteHighly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.Understands basic managerial approaches for work direction, motivation, and disciplinary actionExcellent customer service skills
