Air Force FM Data Entry Analyst
Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Department of Air Force (DAF) Financial Management Data Entry Analyst to join our team in Dayton, OH and various other locations in the U.S. for Air Force Accounting Policy and Operations (SAF/FMFO). The successful candidate will serve and interact with DAF Commands and bases in support of the day-to-day operations of Financial Management. This candidate will input necessary transactions to account for disbursements made by Air and Space Force personnel. They should demonstrate impeccable attention to details as well as solid functional end-to-end AF Financial Management Accounting or Budget experience. Required Skills Ability to navigate AF accounting systems as well as feeder systems to validate and/or review data entries Ability to analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, and PowerBI Ability to analyze/resolve accounting issues identified by FM customers Ability to utilize automated methods to create and update training materials Provide ad hoc and on-the-job training to AF Financial Managers via telephone, video-teleconference, webinar, or on-site visit (when local), to include general training for new users and functional problem areas Provide targeted assistance to users based on metrics, recurring critical task results, and results of other data analysis Provide support to the other teams within SAF/FM, e.g., surge support and end of year processes Qualifications Two years of AF FM experience in lieu of degree Ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship) Willingness and ability to travel as required to support sustainment activities Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree Experience in AF Funds Control, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable, Government Purchase Card, Defense Finance and Accounting Service Treasury Reporting, and/or Working Capital Funds Detailed familiarity with AF Lines of Accounting and financial data elements Experience reviewing computed travel vouchers Experience reviewing miscellaneous collection and disbursement vouchers Experience reviewing Interfund and IPAC transactions Experience reviewing an Open Document Listing (ODL) Experience reviewing a Status of Funds (SoF) Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, or High bond Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
