Job SummaryAs an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate you will contribute to the timely delivery of cargo shipment for our business to customer delivery system while operating safely and securely. Responsibilities Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers to and from semi-trucks in a widely dispersed area. Sorting, scanning and movement of small packages and containers within a designated warehouse. Build up cargo for outbound flights. Break down cargo from import flights. Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading. May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Weighing, labeling, or make/break-down of gaylords or air-containers. Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo. Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids. Minimum Requirements 18 years and older Valid Driver’s license Previous warehouse experience (preferred) Ability to read, write and understand the English language Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures, rain, wind, hot and cold weather Ability to stand for an entire shift and move long distances across our facilities Preferred Skills Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language. Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off. Ability to judge distances. Ability to successfully communicate with others.
