Air Quality Consultant - Texas & Oklahoma

 

Job Title: Air Quality Consultant

We are looking for an Air Quality Consultant with a background in consulting and established client relationships to expand our air quality services within our Mid-Continent operations, based in our Oklahoma City, Dallas Texas, or Houston offices.

 

In this position, you will have a significant role in business development with both current and potential clients. You will collaborate closely with our existing multi-disciplinary team to enhance our services and bring on board skilled air professionals.

 

We are seeking a candidate who has experience working with industrial and manufacturing clients, as well as expertise in air dispersion modeling, Air Quality Analysis, NAAQS compliance, Excess Emissions Impacts Analysis, and preparing air permitting documentation, such as Title V, New Source Review, and Permits by Rule.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee air quality programs and regulatory compliance for various projects. Develop and implement air quality monitoring plans and perform emissions calculations. Conduct air quality impact analyses and prepare technical reports. Consult with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements. Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and other departments. Lead the preparation and review of air quality permit applications. Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience in air quality consulting, environmental compliance, or related field Strong knowledge of federal and state air quality regulations and policies Experience with air emissions monitoring and modeling software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Professional certifications (such as QEP, CEP, or PE) preferred.
