Kleinfelder is seeking a full-time Air Quality Specialist to be located in our Salt Lake City, Utah office.  Office or Hybrid position.

 

The primary role of this position is to provide environmental and engineering technical support for various aspects of air quality permitting and compliance programs including:

Preparation of emission inventories,Permit application development,Regulatory review,Compliance recordkeeping,Greenhouse gas reporting, andDispersion modeling.

The applicant should have strong technical experience with Federal and State air quality regulations and emission calculations and have experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies. This position will be expected to communicate with clients, and progress to being the primary client contact in some situations.

 

Minimum Experience:

Air quality emission calculationsFederal air quality regulationsMinor source air permittingAir quality regulatory applicability determinationsGreenhouse gas reporting and/or regulations

Preferred Experience (beneficial but not required):

State air quality permitting experience in Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. Major source air permittingNEPA air quality analysesProficient with air emissions software such as ProMax and GRI GlyCalcDispersion modeling

Professional Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental, or related4-8 years of experience in Air Quality complianceA portion of that experience with the oil and gas industryProficient in Microsoft programs including Word and ExcelStrong experience with writing and communicating technical materialMinor travel may be necessary Move Forward with KleinfelderKleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range $57,000-$93,000. We will be accepting applications through November 21, 2024 (90 days since posting date).
