The Team  

Expense Management team at Airbase owns the Reimbursements, Corporate Card and the Travel experiences. The team is accountable for offering a modern consumer grade experience to employees both on web and mobile app. The primary goal of this team is to drive employee happiness which will ultimately drive platform stickiness.  

About the Role 

The Airbase Product Manager- II will focus on the Expense Management product line, specifically Expense Reports. In this role, you will own several high-impact, employee-facing features and manage their full lifecycle from discovery to launch. You’ll be expected to define a clear roadmap with minimal guidance and make strategic trade-off choices for both short-term and long-term goals. Using product and feature metrics, along with qualitative feedback, you will evaluate product-market fit, identify opportunities to improve and optimize the user experience, and ultimately drive business impact. 

During the first six months at Paylocity, you will:  

Drive the execution of product features in the Expense Management by teaming up with engineering and design teams  Gain a deep comprehend of our customers, contest, and the spend management landscape  Actively participate in product discovery sessions, gathering feedback to validate and refine the solutions  Prioritize the product backlog, breaking down complex functionality into epics and user stories  Present product updates and progress to internal stakeholders, including guiding teams  Monitor post-launch performance of product features, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement  Advocate for a seamless user experience by incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data into choice-making  

Required Experience:  

Gained 3-5 years of experience in product management building SaaS products  Must be customer focused, outcome motivated and should be able to think strategically  Strong ability to team up with engineering and design teams and successfully work with global teams fostering alignment and effective communication  Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, and choice-making skills  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and updates to internal and external stakeholders  Capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic planning  Experience in building a consumer grade user experience is preferable
