Leidos currently has an opening for an Instructor/Developer, Apprentice Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operator at Goodfellow AFB, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting the U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

Primary Responsibilities
The Instructor/Developer, Apprentice Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operator candidate will apply expertise and experience of ISR, Information Operations (IO), Intelligence Community (IC), technical training, and learning development to support customer requirements. The candidate will provide initial technical training and instruction for Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Operators (AFS: 1A8X2). Instruction will include: Facilitate instruction on Signals Analysis across the Radio Frequency Spectrum; Deliver pre-mission briefing and debriefings and administer academic testing following training events; Design, create, and update course materials as needed, as well as curriculum, and practical training exercises. Additional topics for instruction include signal theory, ISR collection platform fundamentals (RADAR/IR theory, Special Payloads, Weapons Capabilities, Employment and Threats and all Intelligence Disciplines including: SIGINT, OSINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, MASINT as well as Electronic Warfare), Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment, and introduction to core Air Force mission sets supported by the ISR community. The candidate will ensure compliance with Air Education and Training Command standards and practices as well as meeting Air Force standards of professionalism.
Basic Qualifications
Current TS/SCI on day 1
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Instructional System Design) & 4+ years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree (preferably with Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) in Intelligence Studies and Technology) and 6+ years of relevant experience.
Previous assignments/work in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance
Preferred Qualifications
Prior 1A8X2
Experience as an Air Education and Training Command Instructor
Experience in Instructional System Design
Awarded certificate in Kirkpatrick Levels of Evaluation, Bronze, Silver, or Gold
Experience in learning theory
Experience in technical writing
Experience with Adobe Captivate
Experience with Learning Management Systems
