Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Regional Logistics Manager, the incumbent will travel throughout the United States to manage various S&L terminals.  The airborne terminal operator will provide support to maintain and track terminal inventory accuracy; unload propane rail cars; oversee loading of trucks; perform maintenance and repairs in the terminal while operating a safe working environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Take daily temperature, pressure and liquid level readings of the storage tanks and record. Complete a daily inventory report using Microsoft Excel. Complete beginning & end of day terminal situation reports. Complete a month end inventory report using Microsoft Excel. Spot and unload propane rail cars and be able to load rail cars if applicable. Capable of operating transloader equipment.  Oversee the loading of LPG trucks and be able to unload LPG trucks. Complete rail car and truck paperwork. Perform facility and equipment maintenance and repairs. Assist in achieving the terminal operations expense goals. Coordinate with peers on annual reviews of polices & procedures. Perform monthly G/L review of all terminals. Assist in managing terminal projects. Assist in managing terminal PSM regulations. Support terminal regulatory audits. Train the trainer. Coordinate with peers on policies and procedures. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by terminal management team. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Computer experience using Microsoft Excel and Word. Self-driving and capable of performing all tasks with minimum supervision. Strong interpersonal communication, customer service skills. Proficient in procedural writing.

 

Education and Experience:

High School education or equivalent. 1+ years of oil & gas experience with an emphasis in propane industry.  Preferred propane rail car and truck experience.

 

Working Conditions:

Some traveling required - 50% to 60%. Remote work the other 40% to 50%.
