Aircraft Avionics Mechanic
**Job Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to work on the A119 (TH-73) commercial helicopters. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and installing wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. You will also document your work, control equipment status tags, log critical installation information, and verify parts requests. Your ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals will be essential. You will use a variety of manual hand tools and specialized aircraft test equipment. Effective oral and written communication with colleagues and supervisors is required. This role involves working across all shifts and in various conditions while wearing necessary safety equipment. **Responsibilities** + Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. + Document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical installation information, and verify parts requests. + Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions. + Use manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink guns, and specialized aircraft test equipment. + Communicate effectively with other employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders as required. + Perform duties across all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions. **Essential Skills** + Avionic troubleshooting + Functional testing + Aircraft avionics systems + Wiring and wire harness assembly + Schematic reading and interpretation + Avionics installation and repair + Aircraft electronics maintenance + Aircraft assembly **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent + 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience (military experience considered) + Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft + General knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems + Experience with various helicopters and aircraft from manufacturers like Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, etc. **Why Work Here?** We offer immediate direct hire and contract-to-hire openings in Philadelphia, PA, with one of the industry leaders in aircraft manufacturing. No personal tools are required for this position. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
