AIRCRAFT CLEANING MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Aircraft Cleaner Manager is tasked with overseeing the entire aircraft cleaning operation, including managing teams of cleaning personnel and ensuring adherence to airline and industry standards. This role involves strategic planning and coordination to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors. The manager is responsible for compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and must regularly liaise with airline representatives and other stakeholders. Additionally, this position requires managing budgets, ordering supplies, and implementing training programs to maintain high standards of cleanliness and team performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement overall aircraft cleaning strategies and procedures Supervise and manage multiple teams of aircraft cleaners across different shifts Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to aircraft cleaning Collaborate with airport authorities and airline clients to understand and meet their specific cleaning needs Monitor and manage the budget for the aircraft cleaning department, including procurement of supplies and equipment Implement training programs for cleaning staff on new techniques and safety protocols Establish and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all aircraft cleaning operations Analyze performance metrics and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to aircraft cleaning services Keep abreast of the latest developments and innovations in aircraft cleaning technologies and methods Coordinate with maintenance and engineering departments for any special cleaning requirements Develop emergency response plans for cleaning-related incidents Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolution Maintain records of cleaning activities and schedules Provide leadership and direction to the aircraft cleaning teams, fostering a positive work environment. Demonstrating knowledge of the industry Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning team Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all cleaning activities Working under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlines Coordinate with maintenance teams for any special cleaning needs Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss performance, objectives, and ongoing projects May be assigned other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States Minimum 5 years of cleaning experience Minimum 2 years of leadership experience Knowledge of the Aviation Industry preferred Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means Pass a background check and drug screen Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
