Job Description
Our Aircraft Cleaner Manager is tasked with overseeing the entire aircraft cleaning operation, including managing teams of cleaning personnel and ensuring adherence to airline and industry standards. This role involves strategic planning and coordination to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors. The manager is responsible for compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and must regularly liaise with airline representatives and other stakeholders. Additionally, this position requires managing budgets, ordering supplies, and implementing training programs to maintain high standards of cleanliness and team performance.
Requirements:
• Understand contract requirements and customer expectations.
• Supervise the use of people and equipment to efficiently complete the tasks as directed and within established Company and customer standards.
• Understand, be able to perform and assist subordinates in completing their assigned tasks.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures by assuring that established procedures are followed to ensure a safe and efficient work environment for our customers and their property, as well as Company employees and property.
• Work with your team to coach, mentor, and counsel employees to work together by encouraging them to build trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
• Ensure all daily maintenance and housekeeping procedures are accomplished.
• Interprets and communicates items in question in the manuals and/or policies to employees.
• Monitors and/or conducts required training of personnel.
• Provides employee counseling and discipline as needed.
• Ensures the security of all company funds, supplies and equipment.
• Maintains working relationship with customers and provides prompt response to service requests.
• Serve as point person for customers and management to alert them to any irregular operations which may cause delays or otherwise impact service to our customers.
• Ensure functions are performed according to Company, customer, airport and regulatory policies and procedures.
· Foster a safe working environment
· Hold employees accountable for the safety audit performance and all operational metrics
· Monitor and record operational and financial performance and report as required
· Resolve promptly all service issues to ensure contract retention
· Must be able to pass a background check, and able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
· Must be 18 years of age
· Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
· Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week. Airlines are 24/7, so we require our team to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Education/Experience:
· High school diploma (or equivalent)
· Minimum of 2 years’ successful industry-related or airline experience in leadership required
