**Job Title: Fuel Cell Mechanic**
**Job Description**
Perform assembly and disassembly operations on aircraft fuel systems and equipment in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier, and other directives. Perform operational checks of aircraft fuel systems and components with or without production aids. Assemble and test articles for use in system testing, development, and modification of aircraft.

+ Conduct operational checks of aircraft fuel systems and components.
+ Assemble and test articles for system testing, development, and modification of aircraft.
+ Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, and written instructions.
+ Use a variety of precision measuring instruments such as torque wrenches, gauges, and other measuring devices.
+ Operate hand and pneumatic tools as well as various ground support equipment like hydraulic test carts, nitrogen/oxygen carts, tow tractors, and hangar deck cranes.
+ Fuel/defuel, pencil drain, and leak check fuel systems.
**Work Environment**
1st Shift: M-F 5:30am-2:30pm (OT optional). 2nd Shift: M-F 2pm-10:30pm (OT optional). Must be open to work any shift. The work environment is an open-bay, non-climate controlled space. Employees are eligible to expense up to $100 per year for Steel Toed Shoes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
