QualificationsDiploma in technical career, mechanics, machining or a related field (DEP in machining techniques, DEC or equivalent).More than 4 years of experience as a machinist in the aerospace industry or similar.Proficiency in machining techniques and measuring tools.Knowledge of materials used in aeronautics (aluminum, titanium, composites, etc.).CNC programming skills (mastery of software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc. an asset).Attention to detail and quality.Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.Additional InformationMust be authorized to work in Canada.Employees who must relocate for the position may benefit from initial “relocation assistance”.

Job DescriptionRead and interpret technical drawings, sketches and specifications.Program, set up and operate machine tools (CNC, lathes, milling machines, etc to produce precision parts and components for the aircraft.Check the quality of parts produced using precise measuring equipment (micrometers, comparators, etc.).Ensure that dimensional tolerances and technical requirements are respected.Set up machines for specific operations, perform tool changes, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machining equipment.
