Schedule: Monday – Friday, First Shift (8 AM – 5 PM)
Pay Rate: $31.83 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring safety and reliability for commercial aerospace operations. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and performance of cutting-edge aircraft systems.
What You’ll Do Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems, components, and structures. Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs following safety regulations and industry standards. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and structural issues to ensure airworthiness. Work with maintenance teams to execute repairs efficiently and document all work performed. Follow FAA guidelines, manufacturer manuals, and company protocols to ensure compliance. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, using appropriate tools and protective equipment. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and quality control teams to support efficient aircraft operations. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience performing basic to semi-complex aircraft maintenance and repairs. Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. Willingness to adhere to FAA and company compliance standards. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.Preferred Qualifications: FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification is highly desirable. Previous experience working on commercial or military aircraft maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulics, avionics, and electrical systems. Pay Details: $31.83 per hour
