B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experienceTypically, 8+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.5+ years of experience in a Part 145 Repair Station environmentFederal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certificationFamiliarity with FAA regulations, policies, and proceduresComprehensive knowledge with aviation safety standards, safe operating practices, aircraft maintenance and inspection processes, procedures and/or returning planes to serviceStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, and conflict resolution skillsBasic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)Qualifications We Prefer:
Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competencePrevious experience with CorridorExperience with computerized maintenance tracking systems (CAMP, Traxall, Cescom, etc.)Inspection Authorization (IA) DesignationPrevious experience with heavy repair and modification of both metallic and composite structuresIMPORTANT NOTICE:
