To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner in our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is the planning and preparation of production schedules that support the overall strategic plan of the Maintenance Department. The Aircraft Maintenance Planner schedules Engineering orders, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives and ensures the availability of parts and personnel. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning. This position reports to the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Planning.
Essential Duties:
Plan and prepare production schedules that support the overall strategic plan of the Maintenance department
Coordinate with the Maintenance department to ensure adequate staffing
Coordinate with Materials Support for material requirements
Schedule Engineering Orders, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives, and ensure availability of parts and personnel
Compile and issue daily maintenance work packages consisting of scheduled maintenance, Service Bulletins, trend work orders and pilot discrepancies
Perform duties of the maintenance scheduler in their absence
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous airline experience
Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, or related field
Work Environment:
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting to 25 pounds

Starting Rate:
