Technical Operations

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, repair and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

This position is located at MEX airport at Distrito Federal, Mexico. 

 

Job overview and responsibilities

\tPerforms all aspects of aircraft maintenance work including servicing, repair, and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications\tMay be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority\tDemonstrates initiative and leadership to other A&P Mechanics

 

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

Required 

Must be able to speak, read and write in English and SpanishMust hold valid country (DGAC) Aircraft Maintenance Certificate and valid FAA A&P licensesCompletion of local Mechanic Qualification RequirementsMust hold a valid Passport and U.S. VisaMust have three (3) years experience on B737 and Airbus A-320 or similar type of aircraftPrefer five (5) years experience on B737 and Airbus A-320 or similar type of aircraftMust be legally authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorshipRegular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is requiredMust be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holidayAttendance is required at work locationSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
