To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! **Responsibilities** + Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness. + Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. + Reads and interprets OEM maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. + Examines engines for defects, oil leaks and evaluates operating engines to detect and diagnose malfunctions. + Inspects turbine blades to detect cracks or breaks. + Replaces or repairs worn or damaged components + Removes engine from aircraft, using hoist. + Disassembles and inspects parts for wear, warping, or other defects. + Repairs or replaces defective engine parts and reassembles and installs engine in aircraft. + Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories. + Required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration with current Airframe and Powerplant license. + Service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition. + Specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies. + Perform routine inspections such as EMMA, assist or lead EMMA inspections or any other OEM mandated inspection with ability to meet provided deadlines. + Ability to test run and taxi aircraft during busy airport operations while communicating with air traffic control. + Quickly troubleshoot and repair deficiencies reported by aircrew. + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. **Qualifications** + Education: High School diploma or equivalent. + Must be physically capable of bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. above head. + Aircraft Maintenance Experience: Basic General Aviation experience with light single engine aircraft under 12,500 lbs. + 2 Years of electrical/wiring experience required. Avionics experience a plus. + Certificate: Airframe and Powerplant certificate with no enforcement actions; Inspection Authorization preferred. + Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
