GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n

The Maintenance Controller is responsible for the technical leadership to ensure fulfillment of maintenance obligations including quality, and schedules while maintaining company objectives. Responsible for the management of assigned MV-22 aircraft maintenance, associated tooling and support equipment and the training and supervision of all Tyonek maintenance personnel. This includes management of issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time delivery. \n

DUTIES\n\nCoordinates the efforts of the functional maintenance disciplines to ensure that maintenance and recordkeeping are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the contract and statement of work.\nDemonstrates familiarity with a variety of aviation systems, related concepts, and practices and procedures.\nDevelops and controls resources and deadlines.\nCommunicates goals, scope, technical approach, and schedule requirements to assigned personnel.\nConstantly assesses project performance and formulates, organizes, and monitors progress reports. \nMust demonstrate superior communication skills while utilizing experience interfacing directly with the government Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, and customer designated representatives.\nDemonstrates innovation, flexibility, and initiative as well as the ability to work under unusual or extreme pressures \nExhibits excellent risk, change, and resource management skills.\nDemonstrates a solutions-focused approach to problem solving while identifying and resolving customer issues.\nEnforces all workplace policies and procedures \nResponsible for ensuring all employees keep work area organized and clean\nOther Duties as Assigned.\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required \n10 years' military or combined related experience in aviation maintenance on one of the following platforms: MV-22, CH-53 or UH-1Y\/AH-1Z.\nMust be a US Citizen\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
