Technical Operations

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, repair and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

This position is located at CUN airport, in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Job overview and responsibilities Performs all aspects of aircraft maintenance work including servicing, repair, and proper work documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications. May be required to exercise Aircraft Release Authority. Demonstrates initiative and leadership to other AP Mechanics. This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Must be able to speak, read and write in English and SpanishMust hold valid country (DGAC) Aircraft Maintenance Certificate and valid FAA AP licensesCompletion of local Mechanic Qualification RequirementsMust hold a valid Passport and U.S. VisaMust have three (3) years experience on B737 and Airbus A-320 or similar type of aircraftMust be legally authorized to work inMexicowithout sponsorshipRegular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Uniteds policies is requiredMust be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holidayAttendance is required at work locationSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
