The role
As an Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supervising work carried out by employees under his/her control to ensure compliance and airworthiness.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

 

Carrying out 1st and 2nd signature responsibilities. Deputising for B5T as appropriate Carry out flight servicing. Maintaining an effective changeover by debriefs or written log to provide a smooth transition and continuation of trade tasks, between each shift where and when applicable.

 

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Waddington.

 

Essential experience of the Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor

Previous engineering background showing knowledge and understanding to apply technical practical skills  Knowledge of Quality (QMS), Safety (SMS) and Environmental Management Systems  Knowledge of MOD policy documentation and organisation including Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations  Ability to use information systems and use appropriate resources management and production planning skills


Qualifications for the Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor

Extensive relative aviation experience with substantial experience at Technician level  Supervisors in Aviation training  Mechanical Systems Type course.  Training in an Aircraft related discipline to:  City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent (NVQ Level 3)


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
