Job Title: Aircraft Painter
Job Description

The Aircraft Painter works under minimal supervision to safely prepare, paint, layout paint schemes, and detail according to schedule using company quality standards and operating procedures. This role involves applying primer and finish coats, sanding, prepping for paint, and other detail work. The Aircraft Painter will also touch up primer and finish coats, including color matching and blending, and must be proficient in the use of a spray gun. The individual will need to wear a respirator when painting.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare, paint, and detail aircraft according to company standards and procedures.Apply primer and finish coats, including touch-ups and color matching.Sand and prep surfaces for painting.Use a spray gun to apply paint.Clean and prep the painting area.Wear a respirator while painting.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in aircraft painting.Proficiency in using a spray gun.Experience in sanding, painting, and prepping surfaces.Ability to perform color matching and blending.Experience with cleaning and prepping areas for painting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hand tools and blasting.Experience with helicopters and corporate aircraft.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work at the Mesa facility. The shift is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project status. The role involves wearing a respirator when painting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00/hr.
