Aircraft Painter B

Jacksonville, FL 

Contract Position

$29.35-$37.13/Hour

Responsibilities:

Prepare aircraft exteriors for painting, including surface preparation, masking, and layout work.Apply primers, paints, and specialized coatings to aircraft surfaces according to specifications.Perform external aircraft markings using detailed patterns and templates.Ensure compliance with aerospace painting standards and quality control requirements.Follow safety protocols and handle adhesives, sealants, and coatings per industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Clearance Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Experience Requirements:

2+ years of experience in aircraft painting, coatings application, and surface preparation.5+ years of experience preferred.
