Aircraft Painter I - 2nd Shift

Summary: Seeking an Aircraft Painter I for 2nd Shift to perform painting and preparation tasks on aircraft with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED 1 year painting experience Knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation Pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification Proficiency in using tools, equipment, and materials for aircraft painting

Responsibilities:

Masking, sanding, and preparing aircraft for paint application Applying glazing and sealing compounds before final painting Operating preparation and priming equipment Mixing paints and primers Performing leading edge sealant work in final detail Ensuring compliance with safety, housekeeping policies, and use of PPE Maintaining shop equipment and tools as assigned

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
