Summary: Seeking an Aircraft Painter I with experience in painting processes and materials for preparing and finishing aircraft surfaces.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year painting experience
Knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification
Proficient in using tools, equipment, and materials in aircraft painting
Responsibilities:
Mask, sand, and prepare aircraft for paint application
Apply glazing and sealing compounds for final painting
Operate and maintain preparation and priming equipment
Mix paints and primers accurately
Perform sealant work on leading edges in final detail
Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies
Use personal protective equipment; ensure aircraft interior protection (PTP)
Maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned
Follow Paint shop standard practices
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
