Aircraft Structures Alternate Lead

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish work priorities to assist the lead.Insure work performed adheres to high quality standards.Able to use FAA approved date (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM, A.Ds, S.Bs) proficiently.Able to perform heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma/GED required.Tech school student or graduate in sheet metal is a plus.Must have a minimum of 1 year related aviation sheet metal experience and/or training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT

Constantly:Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.Frequently:Lifting ≤40 lbs., push/pull <20 lbs., climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling for extended periods, working in confined spaces. Working above chest-level, overhead, and away from body for extended periods. Bending, twisting of torso, twisting and/or pressure with wrist/hands, fine finger usage, moderate vibrations up to 2 hrs. to high vibrations up to 30 mins. Vision with/without correction; near <20”, far >20’, and basic depth perception (shapes). Working at elevated heights ≥4’, working on ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, and energized parts.Occasionally:Lifting and/or carry ≤50 lbs., sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment, push/pull <50 lbs., work in wet conditions.
