We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. This position involves researching technical data and performing a variety of maintenance tasks on aircraft components. You will be responsible for disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of these components using specialized tools and ground equipment. Your work must comply with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesResearch technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components.Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.Read and interpret manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications.Complete appropriate identification, inspections, routing tags, and forms upon removing units from an aircraft, engine, or other major component or subassembly.Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or other defects.Repair or replace defective engine parts and reassemble and install the engine in the aircraft.Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.Commercial aircraft experience, particularly with larger aircraft such as the Boeing 777.Current valid driver’s license.Airframe certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsA&P license preferred.Experience with Boeing and Airbus aircraft.Basic set of tools required.Ability to pass FAA drug test and criminal history check.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position requires physical demands such as sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, as well as frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level. You will occasionally need to crawl, climb, lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds unassisted. The work location is an aircraft maintenance hangar with exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, and materials identified on Safety Data Sheets. You will also be working at heights or around moving machinery, and may need to enter aircraft fuel tanks. Protective equipment such as goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses are required.
