Ensure operational efficiency and excellence in personnel scheduling, work orders review and completion, safety protocols, supply and parts management, and productivity plans with oversite and cross utilization of different work groups. + **Team Empowerment:** Foster a supportive, fair, and transparent work environment. Offer on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to team members, while continuously striving for improvement in both team dynamics and customer satisfaction. + **Operational Optimization:** Develop and refine processes and documentation to standardize operations and streamline activities contributing to the overall success of the team and organization. + **Safety Advocacy:** Champion adherence to company safety standards and procedures, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all team members. + **Flexibility and Initiative:** + Demonstrate flexibility by working day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays, while proactively taking on additional duties as required. + Be available to answer emergencies and questions 24/7 via company-issued cell phone, text messaging, and or company email. + Be prepared to fill-in for Shift Supervisors, as needed, to accommodate for extended absences due to personal time off, business trips, etc. + Be prepared to fill-in for the Site Manager during extended absences due to personal time off, business travel, etc. **QUALIFICATIONS** + **Education:** High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of a bachelor’s degree program is preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. + **Experience:** A minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience required, with a minimum of ten (10) years in airport baggage handling systems or similar maintenance services. Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics is preferred. + **Skills:** Strong leadership abilities, coupled with demonstrated organizational, participative management, and verbal and written communication skills, are required. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Must be able to obtain necessary airport security clearances. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** While performing the duties of Manager, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircraft and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination is required. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** The primary work responsibilities will require work in both office environments and in airport ramp and baggage handling system areas involving moving machinery, vehicles, aircraft, and sometimes outdoor weather conditions in both hot and cold environmental conditions. **Pay Range:** $72,200.00 - $116,200.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
