**Job Description**
The Airside Construction Manager will oversee daily construction operations for runways, taxiways, aprons, and airport lighting systems. This role requires experience in aviation construction, contractor supervision, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe and high-quality execution.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage and supervise airfield contractors, enforcing FAA and industry safety regulations.
+ Oversee runway, taxiway, and apron paving operations, ensuring compliance with FAA Part 139 and Part 77.
+ Ensure adherence to FAA Construction Safety and Phasing Plans (CSPP) to maintain safe airfield operations.
+ Conduct field inspections to verify the quality of paving, drainage, and electrical installations.
+ SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
+ 7+ years of experience in airfield construction.
+ Strong understanding of FAA Part 77, Runway Safety Areas (RSA), and airport lighting systems.
+ Experience with Caltrans is a plus.
**Additional Information**
**The salary range for this full-time role is** **$140K-$205k** **per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.**
