Now Hiring: RV Service Technician / Fabricator / Custom Upfitter!

Pay: $28-42 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Join the Ultimate Airstreams team as an RV Service Technician and help bring custom Airstream visions to life. As a RV Service Technician at Ultimate Airstreams, a factory-authorized upfitter for Airstream, you’ll play a key role in crafting custom projects for the world’s most iconic luxury travel trailer. We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Team member with hands-on experience not only in fabrication, but also in complementary trades such as electrical, LP systems and plumbing. Your versatility and precision will help deliver the exceptional quality Airstream owners expect.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of travel trailer electrical (12v and 120v) and plumbing systems is preferred. Installing and testing LP components (RVIA/RVDA Certified Technician required, ( Paid training is provided to acquire these certifications to the right candidate) Plumbing of new sinks, faucets, washer/dryers, and water heaters. Perform installations of LP generators experience is a plus  Welding techniques such as MIG and TIG. metal fabrication a plus Installation of new windows, doors, skylights, fans, vents and hatches on Airstream travel trailers. Experience is a plus Work closely with shop leadership to carry out project plans and stay on track with daily goals and deadlines. Perform quality checks throughout the process to ensure every finished product meets our highest standards. Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe to maintain efficiency and productivity. Be ready to jump in where needed and take on additional tasks to help the team and support overall company success. 

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in any related skilled trade (auto mechanic, facilities maintenance technician, plane mechanic, boat mechanic, carpenter, welder, fabricator, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, or similar). Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities. Body Tech experience is a plus . Dealership experience is a plus . RVIA/RVDA – Certified Technician, required (Paid training is provided to acquire these certifications to the right candidate) Proven experience with residential electrical and plumbing.Victron electrical componentry experience a plus.
