About this role

Key responsibilities include:

Lead the Aladdin Client Engagement team for the Canadian marketDrive dialogue and engagement between Aladdin client peers demonstrating thought leadership and industry best practice  Own relationships with client’s senior management (CEO, CTO, CIO, COO, Heads of Desks) to understand their business objectives and needs and help them use Aladdin expertise to achieve their firm’s goals.Work with clients to prioritize strategic and tactical projects and discuss our strategic operational product development plansUnderstand the client’s business challenges and propose solutions leveraging Aladdin that drive value and adoption.Ensure product thematic needs for the market are communicated to the Product Managers and being developed and deployed in line with the needs of the local market.Assist clients in leveraging Aladdin to its fullest across the entire trade and portfolio lifecycleKeep updated on regulatory and operational industry trends to help your clients stay ahead of changing timesLead harvesting and onboarding additional client business by coordinating across product and sales teamsPartner within the broader firm to facilitate truly enterprise relationships with the clients

Qualifications

10+ years of work experience in financial services, insurance, or consultingUndergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Economics, Accounting, Finance is preferredStrong interest in FinTech and the Financial Institutions (Banks and Insurance companies) and/or Asset ManagementFamiliarity with buy-side investment management or middle-office workflows is preferredWorking understanding of equity, fixed income and derivative markets and their operational workflows. Knowledge of alternative investments and their lifecycle is a plusOutstanding communication and the ability to present complex concepts simply and clearly to varying audiencesMust have past demonstration of strong project management and leadership skills, and the ability to deliver large complex projects.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience leading commercial or transformational work within the buyside industryCFA, FRM, CIMA, or CAIA certificationTrack record of running high performing client teams


For Toronto, Canada Only the salary range for this position is CAD$195,000.00 - CAD$265,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
