Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Summer 2025 ALIS System Administrator Intern.
In this role, you will work primarily in a
computer data center and is responsible for
providing the overall on-site maintenance and
support at the ALIS centralized Autonomic
Logistics Operating Unit (ALOU) and serves as
the primary point of contact for any customer
questions or concerns. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of assisting with backups, restores, and disaster recovery of the system. Setting up administrator and service accounts. Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with other administrative disciplines (security,
database, network, and offboard mission support). Monitor inbound and outbound data flow and correcting any service issues that cause system halts. This is an operational support role, the selected candidate may be required to work rotating
shifts which may include weekends as dictated. Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology from an accredited college
• Must possess an understanding of computer information systems and processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
Desired Skills:
• An interest in server systems and system
trouble shooting
• Windows Server Experience
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting
Internet Protocol (IP) Switch Fabric architecture
(e.g., Routing, Fail Over, etc.)
• Disaster recovery: backups and restores of
physical servers (Win2012) and virtual machines
• Applying operating system updates, anti-
virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
