Brilliant All-rounder opportunity for a practical, hands on maintenance person.

Job Summary:   

Following a re3cent renovation, our client is looking for a hands on, dedicated and reliable all-rounder to maintain the 3 acres of grounds/gardens as well as being on hand to address any household maintenance issues that may arise. This role will also see you travel periodically to perform similar tasks at the principal’s London residence.

Grounds

The Hampshire property is set on 3 acres and is primarily grassland. Duties will include but not limited to:

Grass cutting Tending to flower beds and raised beds Hedge trimming Clearing gutters Leaf blowing Window cleaning Keeping driveway clear Repairing fences as required Preparing garden furniture Swimming pool maintenance Keeping everything clean and tidy

Interior

Newly renovated 5 bedroom cottage will require ad hoc maintenance as required. You will be the first point of contact for any typical DIY duties e.g. basic plumbing and electrics, painting etc.

You will also be required to attend the client’s London residence periodically to perform similar duties as those listed above.

Candidate specification:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience performing similar duties within a private household setting You must be a confident driver with your own vehicle and willing to travel to London on an ad hoc basis to carry out the above duties You will have a broad range of maintenance skills both inside and outside the home and have an inquisitive problem-solving approach Qualifications or extending knowledge of plumbing/electrics is a distinct advantage as are any associated qualifications Good knowledge of gardening tools and techniques Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
