Job Summary

The Department of Neurology has an exciting opportunity available to join the Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IOM) team. In this role, you will lead a talented group of IOM Technologists and work collaboratively with our IOM vendor in our hybrid staffing model.  You will be joining a highly qualified and diverse group, who work closely with multiple disciplines to help improve patient outcomes through remarkable advances in IOM care.

    Senior:

Minimum 3 years of supervision experience as a Lead IOM Administrator Masters degree is preferred (MHA, MBA, or ABNM) or an equivalent combination of education and experience  

  Intermediate:

Minimum 1 years of supervision experience as a Lead IOM Administrator A Bachelors degree in basic science coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience

   Both levels will require:

Certification by the American Board of Registration for Electroencephalographic Technologist as a CNIM Skilled in all types of intraoperative neurophysiological testing is necessary 
 Modes of Work

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
