The Terre Haute site is comprised of two facilities – component manufacturing and assembly – of complex combustors & structures engineered for commercial and military aircraft engines.

The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:
Perform precise and detailed assembly workSuccessful candidate shall have the ability to roll fit trim and splice HoneycombConduct operations and applications using powered nickel based alloys in paste, tape and powdered formUse a variety of hand toolsPossess a working knowledge of blueprint and schematicsWork effectively and professionally with others in a team settingFollow and promote safe work practicesSupport lean initiativesCommunicate effectively with others, both written and verbalWillingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as requiredJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes set-ups and operate machineryComply with all site EHS policies and proceduresComply and meet all site Quality policies and proceduresUtilize various tools to Stake, Alloy (paste bead), powder, tape and assemble productUtilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect partsAdherence to Operator Acceptance Procedures (OAP)Inspect finished product and identify defectsAssembly of details on parts utilizing various toolsUtilize inspection gauging on parts and run first piece inspection of partsMulti-skilled in different operations (fabrication, inspection, Assembly etc.)Contribute to continuous improvement and support 6S initiativesAbility to be flexible to support team’s goals (duties, hours, and overtime)Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as requiredAdditional InformationGE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
