Job Description - Environment and Data Strategy Lead
Who we are looking for
The Alpha Professional Services team in Boston, MA is looking for a qualified individual to lead our environment and data strategy workstream. This individual must bring strong experience in end-to-end environment strategy, architecture and workflow design, data analysis and business system flows in order to create and execute environment designs for our industry leading front-to-back client servicing platform. The successful candidate must be skilled in managing multi-year programs consisting of complex business models and flows across front, middle, and back office operating models in both an insourced and outsourced model. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, technical architecture knowledge and understanding of global portfolio management, trading, and compliance functions across asset classes. This position will interact with, and demand exposure to the highest levels of executive management within State Street and within our clients’ organizations.

What you will be responsible for
This client facing role will be responsible for managing end-to-end environment and data strategy programs that onboard new clients onto State Street’s front-to-back platformLead regional and functional teams supporting workflow analysis, data analysis, requirements analysis for current and future state models and architectureLead creation and delivery of internal and client facing documents (strategy documents, playbooks, architecture documentation, data insights etc. )Navigate complex client relationships, build strong business relationships, and manage expectations with client stakeholdersLead various stages of the implementation lifecycle across multiple simultaneous global clientsSupport business development and sales efforts through consultative client engagementProvide regular status updates and support program management reports as neededWhat we value
Strong analytical, organizational skills and team management experienceStrong inter personal communication skills and expertise in documentation, reporting and presentation.Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, and team-based environment, as well as work independentlyExperience in Agile Methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, RTC) preferredFront/ Middle office platforms experience is usefulEducation & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above. 15+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back-office systems, services and data domains.Strong environment strategy and architecture design experience.Strong experience in data mining, ETL experience platforms, data visualization/ reporting/ presentation tools.Exposure to messaging protocols, public/ private cloud platforms and EDMsExperience integrating with other industry providers to promote platform interoperability (e.g., Deliotte, Accenture, PWC, Bloomberg PORT, Charles River Development, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software)Deep client engagement and expectation management across project life cycleSalary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
