As a COMSEC professional you will serve as an alternate COMSEC account manager for a large production and depot COMSEC Account. You will be working closely with the COMSEC team, COMSEC users, and program professionals to ensure proper application of cryptographic key, validate COMSEC requirements in support of multiple U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sales, and Direct Commercial Sale contracts. You will be using your practical knowledge of Industrial Security, and the NISPOM, and how COMSEC plays into the success of business. Attention to detail and time management along with your familiarity with NSA CSSM Policy 3-16 and its associated references will be key to your success.

What You Will Do:

Prepare the shipments, orders, and receipts for COMSEC material.  Submit accurate and timely National Security Agency (NSA) accounting reports   Perform software upgrades and maintenance on encryptors, secure telephone products, fill devices, and other COMSEC equipment.Conduct/reconcile COMSEC inventories, compliance validations, plus incident reporting and investigation.Conduct accountability transitions through the COMSEC product build process following In-Process-Accountability-Plans (IPAP) guidance.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience in industrial security OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance..

Qualifications We Prefer

NSA COMSEC certificationExperience with support of a large COMSEC account to include receipt, custody, safeguarding and destruction of production and/or depot COMSEC materialExperience with End Cryptographic Unit management and load/fill proceduresExperience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipmentExperience in the management of Windows based information systemsKnowledgeable of legacy COMSEC equipment

Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
