Alternative Investment Oversight Senior Analyst, State Street Global Advisors, Assistant Vice President, Hybrid

Who we are looking for

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is the fourth largest asset management firm globally. Global Funds Management is responsible for all treasury, fund administration, and reporting for our registered and unregistered funds globally.  This includes valuation, board liaison and reporting, financial and regulatory reporting, taxation, expense accruals, service provider oversight, new product. As such we are looking to fill a Senior Analyst role responsible for oversight of our Alternative Investment Products.  Candidates must evidence experience in the financial service industry with an expertise in complex accounting structures and asset classes, including; Cayman funds, bank loans, private equity and private credit.  Demonstrated experience with Alternative Investment regulatory reporting is a plus. Successful candidates will demonstrate a continuous improvement and innovation mindset and be technologically savvy.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. Currently, 2 days/week are required to work in the office.

What you will be responsible for

As an  Alternative Investment Oversight Senior Analyst you will

Day to day oversight of the firm’s Alternative Investment productsDaily review of reconciliations between custodian and fund administratorAction on any breaks by communicating directly with custodian/administrator to resolveReview of monthly NAV packages provided by the fund administratorSupport of quarterly regulatory reporting mandated by the SEC and NFAManage Prime Broker and Fund Administrator relationshipsDrive product implementation and change management by working with key stakeholders across SSGA to manage and oversee end-to-end project activities with the Private Funds such as scope and requirements definition, solutioning, estimation and planning, and execution.Manage an Officer level employeeAbility to self-reflect and critically review processes on an ongoing basis.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
