Alternative Investment Program Management, Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking for

Assistant Vice President needed for the Alternative Investments Transformation team.  This role will work closely with Alternative Investments technology, various internal and external stakeholders in a varied and challenging role. Candidates must be well-organized and able to deliver projects in a timely manner.  Candidates must demonstrate strong initiative, be able to perform well under pressure and be capable of working on multiple, diverse assignments.

What you will be responsible for
As an Assistant Vice President in this role, you will

Responsible for project management including scope. schedule, cost, resources, risk. issues, dependencies, quality, procurement, and communications.

Identify and understand relationships between program problems, issues, and risks, and provide thoughtful recommendations and transparency when escalating

Engage and lead senior leadership meetings

Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate data into a story

Defines and develops project/program management best practices, processes, and policy to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals.

Ensures that effective project management governance, procedures, tools and financial controls are established and maintained.

Builds the skills of the project management organization to include strong program and project governance and delivery skills.

Leads initiatives to partner with internal teams to plan, scope, and manage for highest quality client experience and results; monitor all project processes and operations for time and resource efficiencies, cost management, and process improvement opportunities.

Builds strong working relationships across organizations and geographies.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Project credentials such as PMP or at least 5 years of hands on project management experience

Experience with demand management, PMO processes including project tools such as Jira, Clarity and Microsoft project required

Ability to work with executive leaders to define strategy, prioritize complicated, interdependent work efforts to create a roadmap for execution.

Ability to frame new initiatives into manageable programs and structure project teams accordingly.

Ability to manage in challenging global and multiple priorities driven environment within Financial Services.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
