Job Description : Private Equity - Senior Associate

Who we are looking for

A leader within the Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services business unit of the State Street Alternative Investment Services Group. We are a team of dedicated accounting professionals who are passionate about delivering financial reporting and day-to-day accounting and administrative support to premier real estate fund clients. As a Senior Associate you will be responsible for the preparation, analysis and reporting of investment and fund performance data for global real estate funds and affiliated entities

What you will be responsible for

Process data presented in General Partner’s Financial Reports which includes Statement of Assets and Liabilities, Statement of operations, Statement of Changes in Equity, Statement of Cash Flows, Schedule of Investments for Private Equity and Hedge Funds.Analytical review of monthly/quarterly investment and fund performance dataReview and/or prepare various reconciliations as requiredPrepare various client correspondencesActively work with onshore centres to ensure all queries are addressed in a timely mangerCalculating waterfalls and capital account allocationsSpecial projects as requested

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceAt least 5 to 6 years of Private Equity or Hedge Fund accounting or Public Accounting experienceExperience leading verbal and written communications at senior levels with internal and external clientsExcellent administrative and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables.
