Purpose of the Job

Perform aluminothermic welding on grooved rail systems to the highest standards of quality and safety.

 

Responsibilities

 

Execute welding tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of grooved rails on railway tracks. Conduct thorough inspections before and after welding to ensure alignment with industry standards and project specifications. Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including completed welds, inspections, and any issues encountered during the process. Work closely with the engineering and construction teams to ensure that welding tasks align with project timelines and objectives. Ensure all welding equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working order.

 

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

 

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic English Level / A1-A2

 

Desired Knowledge / Experience

  Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in aluminothermic welding, specifically with grooved rails in a railway environment. Valid and traceable certifications in aluminothermic welding from recognized authorities. Proficiency in using welding equipment, tools, and materials specific to aluminothermic welding and grooved rail systems Strong understanding of railway track systems, grooved rail welding techniques, and safety regulations. Additional certifications in related welding techniques or track work. Previous experience working on large-scale railway projects.
