Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated to join our team and contribute to high-precision, high-quality production. This role requires expertise in welding techniques, blueprint reading, and attention to detail to ensure top-tier craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to welding procedure specifications (WPS) and read engineering drawings/weld symbols.Assemble and inspect finished products to ensure quality.Handle materials and set up production equipment.Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.Respect task time and quality standards.Work with jigs/fixtures and identify parts per instructions.Monitor production processes and conduct basic testing and quality checks.Comply with EHS rules.
Responsibilities:
Perform all welding operations for rail vehicle manufacturing.Operate and set up welding machines (GMAW, GTAW, Resistance Spot Welders) with minimal supervision.Understand material properties and operate welding equipment and hand tools.Read blueprints, set up jigs/fixtures, and understand welding symbols and sequences.Use hand and power tools safely.Weld various materials and pass welder evaluation tests.Communicate effectively with supervisors, welders, engineering, and quality departments.Adapt to different work assignments and maintain a clean work environment.Learn from experienced welders and meet company/customer requirements.Assist in new process development and troubleshooting.Utilize digital technology in daily tasks.Obtain or hold external certifications (AWS/ANST or equivalent).Inspect weldments and perform dimensional measurements.Demonstrate knowledge in other welding processes (SMAW, FCAW).Apply post-weld finishing techniques and learn new skills.Pass visual acuity tests and understand non-destructive testing methods.QualificationsExperience:
2-5 years required.
