We are seeking an AM Barista / Breakfast Server to grow along with our company, and to be a part of the culture that puts its people first! We are looking for a customer service professional who is passionate about hospitality and specifically creating a top notch experience for all of our guests through back of the house service in food and beverage. Job Description: To provide the most professional service available to the guest through good, prompt, and courteous service. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Greet and welcome guest with a warm and welcoming manner, introducing yourself and offering a beverage. Always maintain a professional presence in all areas of the marketplace. Provide excellent customer service through accurate and efficient transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures. Provide quality coffee beverages consistently for customers by adhering to all recipes and presentation standards. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Insure all items in the market place are fresh, up-to-date, and look appealing. Politely manage the waiting line in an effective and efficient way. Complete pre, running, and post shift side-work duties. Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude and appropriate conduct with both guests and teammates at all times. Update job knowledge by participating in learning courses from Pyramid Hotel Group and Hilton. Ability to multi–task with the needs of the business and anticipate customer and marketplace needs by constantly evaluating environment. Receive marketplace deliveries, unload and organize stockroom. Restock all condiments, sundries, and food and beverage items throughout shift using FIFO method. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Exhibit a pleasant, attentive and helpful attitude at all times. Adhere to all internal controls, policies, and procedures. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Anything additional requested by management. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Language Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor and fellow employees. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Candidate must be able to lift 35 lbs., be able to work long hours/split shifts and be able to handle stressful conditions. For this position, the employee is frequently required to reach, push, and pull to handle store inventory. Frequently required to stand and move about the store. Hours: Due to the seasonal nature of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, night shifts, and/or overtime. Employee must be available to work holidays and be flexible. Also, depending on the season, hours may be reduced at any time.
