The Manager of TA Shared Services will directly and indirectly manage the day-to-day operations of a highly scalable, centralized recruiting for shared services team. This role will be responsible for standardizing, optimizing managing processes related to scheduling, interviewing, and hiring candidates to allow for efficient and scalable delivery of core recruiting services. The Manager will evaluate and manage daily team performance including productivity and quality, using data and metrics.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of talent acquisition specialists and recruiters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure recruitment goals are met.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to meet the clients staffing needs.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, making job offers, and ensuring successful onboarding.
• Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure that job descriptions are aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with labor laws and company policies.
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and provide reports to senior management to identify areas of improvement.
• Proactively build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
• Promote the client as an employer of choice by participating in job fairs, networking events, and social media outreach to increase brand awareness.
• Oversee the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure smooth transition for new hires by overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies, and helping with initial orientation.
• Champion the department’s process improvement efforts to drive efficiency and accuracy with a focus on ensuring strong controls are in place
• Manage, direct, and develop assigned personnel, to ensure team and individual expectations are achieved. Responsible for priority setting and hiring. Ensures staff is trained in departmental processes and procedures to meet goals and expectations.
• Provide a data driven understanding of the job market to influence internal stakeholders and advance best-in-class strategies that elevate our recruitment processes.
• Drive proactive sourcing and recruiting strategies identifying optimal markets and talent opportunities.
• Optimize resource utilization in response to business needs.
• Report and analyze operational metrics inclusive of ensuring all service level agreements are upheld within regional teams.
• Partner with IT to ensure new functionality, system updates, year-end acquisitions, etc. are handled in the efficient, structured environment with thorough testing and quality assurance to minimize the impact of the production environment.
• Provides supervision, review of work product, and coaching of direct reports as it relates to performance and developmental goals and appraises their performance throughout the year.

• Execute all operational processes, and associated documentation, that support the hiring process, ensuring standardized processes and procedures are followed to meet or exceed all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Build standardized, operationally efficient and excellent candidate and requisition management processes (requisition creation, verification of candidate eligibility) and drive accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in performance of these processes among team
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in data analysis and using recruitment metrics to drive improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced knowledge of Excel
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Expert in building and maintaining professional relationships
• Ability to manage and influence the diverse set of stakeholders
• Must be attentive to detail and accuracy and committed to excellence and quality.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills required.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with high volume recruiting – preferred
• Having experience in UKG (UltiPro System) is preferred
