JOB PURPOSE

In this role you will drive operational excellence in warehousing & cold chain operations for the IC Business in Pakistan, exploiting and optimizing Unilever’s use of warehouse and transportation design and operation to improve customer service, cost and carbon footprint.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Step up to deliver savings performance through defining best practice Logistics standards – Infrastructure, Processes & Operations and driving continuous performance improvement through benchmarkingReduce Warehouse, Cold Chain and Transport related losses through defining & implementing Warehouse transition management processes and implementing best-in-class warehouse management processes & toolsDrive CO2 reduction initiative in Warehouse & Transportation activities and reduce CO2 footprintLead initiatives on Activity Based Costing, Warehouse design, Material Handling Equipment, setting up Optimal Warehouse processes (Put away, Replenishment, Picking etc.), Warehouse Transition management, Internal & external benchmarks on Warehouse performance to drive improvement in Warehouse KPIsWork closely with in-country Logistics team and support them through deployment of best-in-class Warehouse and transport processes, tools and driving continuous improvement through internal & external benchmarks

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experience & Qualifications  

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics, with at least 2 years in managing Warehouse operations.

Skills

Experience in Distribution planning, Regional 3PL management, WMS implementation, Warehouse transition would be an advantageStrong communication and interpersonal skills.A good manufacturing basic appreciation knowledge
