Title Office Assistant/Cleaner
Job Summary
The Office Assistant/Cleaner is responsible for a variety of office support duties and to carry out the cleaning function for our showroom.
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Cleaning
1. Perform cleaning functions as required, including washing, sweeping, dusting, vacuum-cleaning, and polishing.
2. Clean surfaces, including floors, furniture, walls, doors, carpets.
3. Keep office rooms, pantry, and showroom clean and hygienic.
4. Ensure that the office compound is clean and internal plants growth well.
5. Always ensure cleanliness of facilities and report any instances of damage and mismanagement to the line supervisor.
6. Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed by all staff and visitors.
B. Administrative duties:
1. Prepare refreshments for visitors and for staff during meetings.
2. Count the quantity and replenish refreshments/ stationery for the showroom.
3. Scanning, photocopying, and filing documents.
4. Managing inventory of office supplies, by making requisitions for pantry sundries
and office stationery monthly and ensuring adequate stock. Submit requests for all
utilities needed early to the line supervisor.
5. Ensure that the office and showroom is constantly running with enough toiletries.
6. Supporting Finance and HR departments for banking and postage issue.
7. Receiving office letters, opening, sorting, and distributing to the appropriate staff
8. Adjust and conduct minor repairs.
9. Any other general administrative duties as will be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
1. Discreet, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
2. At least one year working experience in a similar position.
3. Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and event-related duties efficiently.
