The Amazon Specialist will play a key role in supporting our Amazon operations by optimizing product detail pages (PDPs), updating A+ content, assisting with advertising updates in collaboration with the Amazon Media Manager, and updating the Amazon Brand Store. This role requires a deep understanding of Amazon’s platform and tools, as well as excellent coordination and organizational skills.
This role reports to the VP of Amazon and is full time and remote. While remote, this role may travel up to 5% of the time including but not limited to team meetings, Quarterly Business meetings, & company-sponsored events.
The base salary range for this position is between 65,000 and 75,000. At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
Product Listings and Optimization: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of product listings, ensuring accuracy, SEO optimization, and compliance with Amazon’s guidelines. Perform keyword research to improve discoverability and conversion rates. A+ Content Development: Update and enhance A+ content to align with brand messaging and improve product storytelling. Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually engaging assets, including images, graphics, and infographics. Advertising Support: Coordinate with the Media Manager to ensure updates to campaigns are accurately implemented. Provide assistance in updating sponsored brand content, ad creatives, and related assets based on campaign needs. Amazon Brand Store Management: Maintain and update the Amazon Brand Store to reflect new product launches, promotions, and brand campaigns. Ensure the store layout and content are aligned with current brand guidelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, media, and creative teams to ensure seamless integration of Amazon strategies across campaigns and touchpoints. Provide feedback and updates to teams regarding Amazon-specific initiatives and needs. Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in gathering and analyzing data from PDPs and campaigns to measure performance. Prepare summaries and insights to share with the broader team. Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on competitors, customer behavior, and product trends to identify areas of opportunity.Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience managing or supporting Amazon Marketplace content via Seller Central. Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of Amazon’s platform, including Seller Central, SEO best practices, and A+ Content tools. Proven experience with creating, updating, and maintaining PDPs and Brand Stores. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides. Additional Skills (Preferred): Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools for basic content updates. Experience with e-commerce tools like Pacvue, Helium 10 or Jungle Scout is a plus.
