**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** **Description:** **Job Summary:** Assist patients and visitors with request for assistance in Harbor Dunes, Dunewood and Hospital locations. Provide information about health system and community services. Delivering excellent customer service to all and be available to answer questions that may arise. **Minimum Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements** + High School diploma Excellent customer service skills + Ability to relate to a wide variety of people + Ability to use active listening skills, be empathetic and non-objective + Knowledge of hospital and medical center helpful + Excellent oral communication skills + Ability to implement CPR and current BLS certification **Job Duties:** + Assist the patient/family throughout their hospital visit. + Assist with requests for patient information. + Proactively provide excellent customer service to all who visit NOCH. + Direct complaints to appropriate staff via the online complaint process or through a department manager. + Address special needs that may arise for families/visitors. + Assist valet service when needed. + Assist information desk when needed. + Assist in screening patients, staff and guests coming into the facility when screener is busy or unavailable. + Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. **Critical Demands of the Job** + Must be able to stand for approximately 95% of the day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
